kevin spacey is joining us now. he's the star of "house of cards." kevin, thank for joining us. you've been in a lot of political fields. you played a campaign operative, casino jack, now the house majority whip and "house of cards." you've almost become synonymous with washington politics. what is drawing you to these political roles? >> well, i not only, as you know, do a lot of theater and therefore i can do shakespeare and more classical work, but i'm very driven by the opportunity to examine current situations and current things that are happening in our world and i guess when i look at the two other films that you mentioned, a recount about the gore/bush election in florida and how many days it took us to find out who our president was and the lobbying industry and what it has done in terms of washington politics and examining that in the jack abraham story, casino jack. i think these are important stories to understand who we are and how we got to where we are and can we make it a better than it is. >> and almost reality is almost as out ranl jous as art so you can't even
